This retreat to Ireland is a once in a lifetime adventure to experience castles, countryside, farm-to-table food, and yoga!

We will stay in a converted 15th century castle in luxurious accommodations complete with a pool, AC, tennis, croquet, and beautiful grounds for you to relax and enjoy the view.

Rooms

There are several different rooms to choose from, and all will offer a cozy and luxurious stay. To see each room, please view all rooms here.

Each room has added luxuries like stunning views of the grounds, AC. 

Food

All meals, with the exception of two meals on your own, will be provided. 

Brunch will be continental Irish breakfast with traditional European options. 

Dinner will vary depending on if we will be having dinner in town, or dining at the hotel. Dinners at the hotel are three course, farm-to-table meals with ingredients from the grounds of the hotel so each meal will be its own unique experience. 

Please note the food on this trip will not be solely vegetarian, and will mostly consist of fish and chicken. We will, unfortunately, not be able to accommodate vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, or any other restrictive dietary needs on this trip. 

Adventures

Staying in County Cork will allow a unique experience in the Irish countryside and coastal escapes.

We will visit the one and only blarney castle and grounds, and enjoy a boat cruise near Kinsale will allow you to take in the scenery of the majestic region. 

You’ll be able to take your adventure further, if you wish, when we spend the day in Cork, where you will have free time for additional activities, exploring the town. 

We will also visit a sauna along the coast to take in the ocean views.

Yoga Classes

Each day will offer a 60-minute vinyasa style yoga class in the converted grainery. Mats, blocks, and straps are provided, though you may want to bring your own yoga supplies. 

Register

To register, please complete the registration form and submit your $1,000 deposit. A $1,200 installment will be due February 1, 2026, and the remaining balance due April 1, 2026. Save $100 off the single or $200 off the double rate ($100/pp) if you pay in full at registration!

Each participant must complete this registration form and submit a deposit, even if you are travelling together. 

All rooms have a private bath. Some rooms have one single bed for single occupancy or double with shared bed, and some have the option for two beds for double occupancy.

Your Guide:

Angelina is a ERYT500, YACEP travelling yoga teacher who has been teaching yoga since 2010. Leading yoga retreats across the globe is her passion and you’ll find her classes to be energizing and full of fun.

You’ll feel completely taken care of when on retreat with Angelina. All the details are pre-arranged with care, and with a magical experience in mind.

What's Not Included

Airfare, transportation other than designated as part of the trip, taxes, gratuities, travel insurance, water/other activities in town, additional excursions, massage, two meals on your own, and any additional tours not part of the retreat.

Cancellation/Refunds: Deposits are non-refundable. Payment installments are non-refundable after being paid unless your spot can be filled by another person, and any refund will be less a $140 transaction fee. No refunds are guaranteed. FAQ

Our exact meeting place and time will be determined closer to the retreat date, though will be either Cork train station or airport. There is an international airport in Cork (ORK), though you may consider flying to Dublin (DUB) and taking the train (2.5hours), or Shannon (SNN) and renting a car (1.5hr drive). If you fly to to Shannon or Dublin, you will need to make your way to Crok to meet up with the group. 

No flights or transportation outside of planned activities and the pick up and drop off location in Cork are included with registration. 

More information on the meeting location and time will be included closer to the date for participants to arrange their own flights and travel plans. 

We are meeting as a group at either the ORK airport, or the Cork Train Station. Transportation from here to the retreat and return are included. Transportation to all planned activities is also included. You may still elect to rent a car and travel on your own.

At the time of this posting, US citizens are not required to get a Visa to visit Ireland prior to arrival. You will be given a Visa upon arrival valid for 90 days. You must make sure that your passport does not expire within six months of your arrival and departure dates. Non-US citizens should check with their embassy on requirements. You can find travel information requirements with the State Department. 

Although the Republic of Ireland is part of the EU, it is not considered part of the Schengen area, and so it not part of the ETIAS. Though you should stay up to date an changes to the date of enforcement.

There are several train services where you can buy tickets to travel in Ireland and Europe. I recommend you book with Irish Rail

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. A good place to start is calling your homeowner or rental insurance company. World Nomads is a reputable company you may wish to get a quote from. We do not specifically endorse any travel insurance plans. It is solely up to you to find and purchase travel insurance.

Unfortunately, we won’t be able to wait for you if you miss the group meet up in Cork. You will need to arrange your own transfer to the retreat. 

The retreat is approximately 30 minutes south of Cork, so you may arrange a taxi, car service, or rent a car. 

Check in is at 4pm on May 24, 2025. If you are meeting us for the group transit, you will arrive with the group. 

Check out is 11am May 30, and we will travel back to Cork together. 

Gratuities for drivers, retreat center staff, massages, and any other services are not included in your registration. Please plan to have some small Euros to offer to staff.  

There are many small villages near the retreat center. The largest city is Cork, approximately 30 minutes north of the retreat center.

All meals are included from Sunday dinner through Saturday breakfast with the exception of two meals on your own in town where you will have access to local restaurants and cafes. 

Brunch will be Irish and European continental with cold cuts, fruit, cereal, and pastries along with juice, coffee, and tea. 

Dinner will vary depending on where we are eating. Meals at the retreat center will be three course, gourmet farm-to-table with items grown on the retreat grounds, mostly consisting of vegetarian and chicken or fish. 

The food on this trip will not be vegetarian. 

Our trip is designed to appreciate the cuisine created by the chef at the retreat center using local ingredients from the retreat center grounds, and will sometimes contain dairy, fish, chicken, gluten, or other allergens. We would love to accommodate everyone’s needs, unfortunately, due to patronizing local eateries and the chef prepared meals, we won’t be able to accommodate restrictive diets such as vegan, gluten-free, etc. We will do our best to accommodate allergies as best as possible. 

Yes, the retreat center has Wifi available.

The retreat center has A/C in all the rooms. 

You can expect warm-is day time temperatures in the high 50s and low 60s(f), and in the low 40’s at night.

It is a good idea to pack with layers in mind so you can be chill during the day, and cozy in the evenings. 

Rain is also very possible, so pack some rain gear. 

The retreat center does not have a spa or masseuse. If enough people would like to have massages, we can hire a masseuse to come to the retreat center. 

There are many outdoor activities for you to enjoy the lovely Irish countryside, coast, or rolling hills. While hiking isn’t part of the itinerary, there are short and long hikes for you to enjoy.

The retreat center also has bicycles for you to rent, if you choose. There are also various tours available around the property, all of 

We will have one day as a group in Cork, and one day in Kinsale where you can shop and see the sights, although any additional activities are not included in your registration. 

Yoga classes will be each morning before breakfast in a vigorous vinyasa style. Classes will offer many variations and modifications to offer an “all-levels” class. 

The retreat center has mats, blocks and straps. You may also consider bringing your own supplies such as blocks or other items.  

There is not laundry service provided, but arrangements can be made if needed. 

Your deposit is non-refundable.

Any additional monies paid are non-refundable after being paid unless your spot can be filled with another participant. If your spot is able to be filled, any refunds will be less the $1,000 deposit and a $140 processing fee. 

If the retreat is canceled due to low attendance, full refunds will be made. 

If you are travelling by yourself and would like to sign up for a double, you may sign up to be on the waitlist to see if another person to share a room with registers. You do not need to pay the deposit to be put on the waitlist, please indicate on the form that this is the option you are looking for. You will know no later than June 1, 2025 if a roommate has been able to be located or not. At the time a roommate has been found, both people sharing the room must pay their $1,000 deposit and the remaining payments installments. There is no guarantee we will be able to find a roommate, and bookings as singles and doubles/pairs will have priority.

If you are travelling solo and want to book a shared room, you will be paired with someone of the same sex. This is why we ask for this information on the registration form. 

Because it is a 15th century castle, the retreat center been modified over the years and has many stairs, cobblestones, and other things to make it tricky to get around. 

Several bedrooms are located on the first floor of the retreat center, so please consider this when booking and read the room descriptions. 

Additionally, the Blarney Castle and other activities may be difficult to navigate if you are uncomfortable climbing stairs or walking on cobblestones.

We will have a maximum of 13 guests on this holiday, so make sure to book your spot early!

Our hope is to keep the group small enough to fully enjoy all experiences in a part of the world where cars, kitchens, houses are small, but hearts are big.  

Yes! Because Angelina is a YACEP through Yoga Alliance, you will receive between 5 and 10 CEUs depending on how many of the yoga classes and activities you attend.
