FAQ

A: All participants must be able to tread water. Participants who are unable to do so must wear a life jacket for the duration of the class.

A: Life jackets are required on the paddleboard and it is optional to wear one for those who are able to tread water.

A: You get wet, of course! If you fall while we are paddling, you will be tethered to your SUP with an ankle leash so you can easily get back onto the board. If you fall during the yoga class, your board will be anchored in place and will not float away from you.

A: Only if you want to. You should wear clothes you can move comfortably in and are ok getting wet. It is also important to dress for the weather, so if it is breezy or cloudy, a sunshirt may be a good idea, etc. Workout clothing is adequate for SUP. I typically wear a swimming suit under board shorts or running tights and a t-shirt/tank.

A: During the yoga class each participant will drop an anchor to keep their SUP in place for the class. Paddles will be stored on the board with bungees. All participants must be at least 6 feet away from one another.

A: Have a towel, change of clothes, sunscreen, a hat you don’t mind getting wet, and water. You may wear sunglasses, but if you fall in they may sink so use a leash. There are no lockers or cubbies to place your belongings, so please leave your items in your vehicle. DO NOT leave valuables in your vehicle.

Yoga and Wellness with Angelina, LLC is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.

A: If you have a dry bag, you can bring whatever you want. Bungees are available on the board for you to strap in a water bottle, but it may get splashed on. Leave anything you want to keep dry in your car or on land. Do not bring your phone unless it is in a waterproof case.

YOGA AND WELLNESS WITH ANGELINA, LLC is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damamged items.

A: If you don’t have a dry bag, I would be happy to hold on to them for you during class to keep them dry.

A: If you have a waterproof camera for 15 feet or more, you may bring it. If not, you should leave it on land. I will be taking pictures which you will receive after class.

A: No experience is required. The yoga part of the class is taught so everyone can participate and something fun to work on.

A: No experience is required, only a willingness to try new things and to fall in the water. But that’s half the fun! The class includes on shore instruction and guidance as well as on the water.
